Full-service salon   At Vista Oaks, every aspect of the assisted-living facility is aimed at helping seniors easily manage their day-to-day life. Vista Oak's full-service, onsite salon is one example. With a full-range of salon offerings, the professional staff provides women with a complete line of beauty services, including manicures, pedicures and hair stylings. For men, the salon cuts and styles hair as well as grooms and trims beards or mustaches.

Dining room   Vista Oaks' professional culinary staff prepares three delicious meals a day for residents. Served restaurant-style, residents may select from several main entrees or enjoy the soup, salad and fruit bar. The elegant dining room seats 100 residents and guests. To celebrate holidays, anniversaries or birthdays, families may reserve Vista Oaks' private dining room.

Recreation room   Whether it's playing chess and dominoes, assembling model airplanes and jigsaw puzzles or surfing the Internet and learning yoga, Vista Oaks offers a full-range of programs to keep residents mentally and physically active. The full-time activities director provides a brimming calendar - from classes in the recreation room to ice cream and popcorn socials in the parlor.

Common living area  Fostering a close-knit community, Vista Oaks prides itself in providing common living areas where residents watch television or movies together, play card games or chess together or simply visit and enjoy the company of other residents. Patterned after a home's family room, each of the three common areas provides a relaxed, casual setting.

Room amenities   While Vista Oaks provides three meals a day in its dining room, suites have kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwaves, allowing residents to savor a hot cup of tea or light snack in their room. Each room also is fully wired for computers, faxes and modems as well as medical response systems and personal voicemail.

Resident bedrooms   Designed to match the warmth and openness of a luxury hotel, rooms at Vista Oaks provide quiet, comfortable environments for residents to read a book, watch television or simply take an afternoon nap. With a full-size bathroom, large closets and a unique floor plan designed to provide the utmost in privacy, each suite provides ample living space.

Spa  Equipped with a therapeutic whirlpool, treadmill, exercise bicycle, cardioglide machine and weights, Vista Oaks' spa helps residents maintain good physical health while enjoying a meaningful fitness program. As with other Vista Oaks programs, the ultimate goal is to assist residents in remaining healthy and vital and to live life to its fullest.

Courtyard   As a beautiful centerpiece to Vista Oaks overall décor, the courtyard provides a peaceful area to sit or stroll and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the Texas Hill Country's natural wonders. The courtyard plays host to fun-filled activities such as summer barbecues, homemade ice cream socials and golf putting sessions on the putting green.
